The present article questions the traditional interpretation of the so-called “parable of the talents”, asking about the features of social and economic relations to which the story itself refers. From there it asks about its potential contesting significance, starting from the denunciation of a slave who refused to participate in the process of accumulation of wealth carried out by his owner
O presente artigo questiona a interpretação tradicional da chamada "parábola dos talentos", fazendo a pergunta pelos traços das relações sociais e econômicas aos quais o próprio enredo remete. A partir daí se pergunta por seu potencial significado contestador, a partir da denúncia de um escravo que se recusou a participar do processo de acumulação de riqueza levado a cabo por seu proprietário.
