  • Beschreibung: Investment decision making is a complex process that requires evaluating various financial assets and determining which ones to purchase or sell. Retail investors, who are individuals rather than institutional investors, often make investment decisions based on their personal beliefs and perceptions. However, these beliefs and perceptions are not always accurate and can lead to biases that affect how investors make decisions. This study aims to investigate the different biases that affect retail investors and their impact on investment decision making. The research will focus on three common biases: overconfidence bias, representativeness bias, and availability bias. The study also explored strategies that retail investors can use to mitigate these biases and make more informed investment decisions. These findings have practical implications for investors, financial institutions, and policymakers to improve investment decision making by developing strategies to help individuals overcome behavioral biases in investment decision making, by developing educational programs for investors and by developing policies and regulations to help individuals make more informed investment decisions
