  • Beschreibung: The reservoirs are lifelong infrastructures interrelated to well-being of local community. This study focuses on comprehensive analysis of well-being factors of the local people surrounding the reservoirs. The study aims to understand the relationship of variables influencing well-being and develop a causal loop diagram (CLD) to illustrate the complex relationship with applying correlation data. The correlation analysis used data from household surrounding the reservoirs to analyze statistical correlations. Participation in water management and an appropriate handling of discrimination issues in obtaining drinking water, water for washing, water for occupational purposes were the most correlated variables. Meanwhile, the family’s net income had the highest level with variables of confidence of livelihoods in the area against flooding and drought and crime in residential areas damaging life and property. These data were used to develop CLD by representing the number, level, and direction of correlations with connection line, line color, and the polar symbol respectively. The correlation analysis and visualization through CLD serve as decision making tool to understand the complex interrelation of variable to improve well-being factors impacting sustainable water resources development project and could serve as an approach for the development of CLD with qualitative and quantitative relationship characteristic
