  • Beschreibung: The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) in Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines, attempts to achieve its organizational goals through leadership. This capstone research examines the role of effective leadership in enhancing organizational performance in NIA. Using Creswell's Descriptive-Correlation quantitative research design, the study analyzes the perspectives of NIA officials and employees on the impact of leadership on morale, productivity, work engagement, and human security. The theory of Collaborative Governance is applied as a framework for analysis. The study finds that effective leadership, through leadership development programs, positively impacts employee morale, productivity, work engagement, and human security. The study shows that leadership development programs are crucial in fostering positive work environments and enhancing work productivity. The findings contribute to the literature on organization and management, specifically for good governance, and provide insights for policymakers and practitioners in the Philippines and other developing countries. The study recommends that NIA invests in leadership development programs for current and aspiring leaders in the public sector to boost organizational performance. The findings highlight the importance of collaborative governance in enhancing organizational performance and the need for public institutions to prioritize leadership development to achieve their organizational goals
