Beschreibung: This report provides an overview of the market access requirements that apply to "peer providers" of short-term accommodation services in the collaborative economy. For the purposes of this report, a peer provider is described as follows: 'peer provider wishing to offer accommodation services for one night per year in his / her rented asset'. While no clear definition of a 'peer provider' exists across the EU Member States, some countries have introduced certain thresholds that allow making a distinction between the applicability of certain rules to peer and professional providers. For example, peers may not need authorisation to rent out their property if this is only rented out for a limited amount of days a year.
