In the Senate of the United States. February 21, 1865. -- Ordered to be printed. February 23, 1865. -- Ordered that 1,000 additional copies be printed -- 500 for the use of the Senate and 500 for the use of the Smithsonian Institution. Mr. Foot submitted the following report. Resolved by the Senate, (the House of Representatives concurring,) that the Committee on Public Buildings and Grounds of the Senate, jointly with the Committee on Public Buildings and Grounds of the House, be, and they are hereby, directed to inquire into the origin of the fire by which the Smithsonian Institution buildings
