  • Beschreibung: Abstract The exergy analysis method is an important method for evaluating energy levels and energy efficiency. It is of great importance in the direction of process energy efficiency optimization. In this paper, the energy use of coal-to-ethylene glycol distillation process is comprehensively evaluated and analyzed using. Firstly, based on Aspen Plus process simulation, the basic data for exergy analysis were obtained; secondly, a detailed the results showed that the exergy efficiency of the deethylene glycol unit was the lowest, and the exergy loss of the reboiler was the highest. The exergy efficiency can be improved by appropriately changing the operating conditions such as feed position, reflux ratio and extraction ratio of the de-glycol unit.
