<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>A 6‐month‐old Border Collie presented with an intermittent non‐weight‐bearing lameness of the right hind leg for a 3‐month period. Avulsion of the popliteus muscle tendon was diagnosed by radiographic and CT evaluation. Fixation with a screw and spiked washer had an excellent outcome.</jats:p>
