  • Beschreibung: <jats:p>The crystal structures of <jats:sup>3</jats:sup><jats:sub>∞</jats:sub>[<jats:italic>RE</jats:italic><jats:sub>2</jats:sub>(ADC)<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>(H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O)<jats:sub>6</jats:sub>]<jats:bold>·</jats:bold>2H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O (<jats:italic>RE</jats:italic> = Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy) were solved and refined from X‐ray single crystal data. They crystallize in a structure type already known for <jats:italic>RE</jats:italic> = La, Ce and Gd (<jats:italic>P</jats:italic><jats:styled-content>1</jats:styled-content>, no. 2, <jats:italic>Z</jats:italic> = 2), which is characterized by <jats:italic>RE</jats:italic>O<jats:sub>9</jats:sub> polyhedra forming dimeric units being the nodes of a 3D framework structure linked by ADC<jats:sup>2–</jats:sup> anions (<jats:sup>–</jats:sup>O<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>C–C≡C–CO<jats:sub>2</jats:sub><jats:sup>–</jats:sup> = acetylenedicarboxylate). From synchrotron powder diffraction data it was shown that isostructural coordination networks are formed for <jats:italic>RE</jats:italic> = Ho, Er, Y, whereas for <jats:italic>RE</jats:italic> = Tm, Yb, Lu a new structure type crystallizing in a highly complex crystal structure with a large orthorhombic unit cell is found. All compounds are obtained by slow evaporation of an aqueous solution containing <jats:italic>RE</jats:italic>(OAc)<jats:sub>3</jats:sub><jats:bold>·</jats:bold><jats:italic>x</jats:italic>H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O and acetylenedicarboxylic acid (H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>ADC). The coordination networks of composition <jats:sup>3</jats:sup><jats:sub>∞</jats:sub>[<jats:italic>RE</jats:italic><jats:sub>2</jats:sub>(ADC)<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>(H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O)<jats:sub>6</jats:sub>]<jats:bold>·</jats:bold>2H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O were thoroughly investigated by thermal analysis and for <jats:italic>RE</jats:italic> = Eu, Tb, a strong red and green photoluminescence was observed and investigated by means of UV/Vis spectroscopy.</jats:p>
