Beschreibung: AbstractThe essential oils from flowers and stems of Helichrysum litoreum collected in the Aeolian archipelago were examined by GC and GC–MS. β‐Caryophyllene (24.4%), α‐pinene (23.2%), γ‐curcumene (5.6%) and rosifoliol (3.1%) were the predominant components of flower essential oil. The stem essential oil was almost totally characterized by monoterpene hydrocarbons (ca. 89%), limonene (74.6%) and α‐pinene (12.9%) being the main compounds.
