  • Beschreibung:
We should think about integrating the various parts of our life, rather than using the term “work/life balance,” according to Friedman. His work is based on research he developed for Ford Motor, in a program called “Total Leadership,” based on the principles of “be real, be whole, and be innovative.” He discusses how to apply a set of skills (such as clarifying expectations, building supportive networks, and challenging the status quo) in “the four domains of work, home, community, and the private self (mind, body, and spirit).” He illustrates with stories of such disparate life examples as rocker Bruce Springsteen and Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg.
