  • Beschreibung: <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Based on NMR investigations and on composition data it was concluded that the copolymerization of styrene with methyl α‐cyanocinnamate obeys a penultimate mechanism (reactivity ratios <jats:italic>r</jats:italic><jats:sub>2</jats:sub> = <jats:italic>r</jats:italic>′<jats:sub>2</jats:sub> = 0) with both head‐to‐tail and head‐to‐head couplings. A theoretical treatment of the mechanism supplied correlations which fit experimental sequence distribution data.</jats:p>
