- Beschreibung: <jats:title>A<jats:sc>bstract</jats:sc> </jats:title> <jats:p>A study of mixing and indirect CP violation in <jats:italic>D</jats:italic> <jats:sup>0</jats:sup> mesons through the determination of the parameters <jats:italic>y</jats:italic> <jats:sub>CP</jats:sub> and <jats:italic>A</jats:italic> <jats:sub>Γ</jats:sub> is presented. The parameter <jats:italic>y</jats:italic> <jats:sub>CP</jats:sub> is the deviation from unity of the ratio of effective lifetimes measured in <jats:italic>D</jats:italic> <jats:sup>0</jats:sup> decays to the CP eigenstate <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sup>+</jats:sup> <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sup>−</jats:sup> with respect to decays to the Cabibbo favoured mode <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sup>−</jats:sup>π<jats:sup>+</jats:sup>. The result measured using data collected by LHCb in 2010, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 29 pb<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup>, is <jats:italic>y</jats:italic> <jats:sub>CP</jats:sub> = (5<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>5 ± 6<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>3<jats:sub>stat</jats:sub> ± 4<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>1<jats:sub>syst</jats:sub>) × 10<jats:sup>−3</jats:sup>. The parameter <jats:italic>A</jats:italic> <jats:sub>Γ</jats:sub> is the asymmetry of effective lifetimes measured in decays of <jats:italic>D</jats:italic> <jats:sup>0</jats:sup> and <jats:inline-formula> <jats:tex-math>$ {\overline D^0} $</jats:tex-math> </jats:inline-formula> mesons to <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sup>+</jats:sup> <jats:italic>K</jats:italic> <jats:sup>−</jats:sup>. The result is <jats:italic>A</jats:italic> <jats:sub>Γ</jats:sub> = (−5<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>9 ± 5<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>9<jats:sub>stat</jats:sub> ± 2<jats:italic>.</jats:italic>1<jats:sub>syst</jats:sub>) × 10<jats:sup>−3</jats:sup>. A data-driven technique is used to correct for lifetime-biasing effects.</jats:p>
