  • Beschreibung: <jats:title>A<jats:sc>bstract</jats:sc> </jats:title><jats:p>Measurements of <jats:italic>CP</jats:italic> observables in <jats:italic>B</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup> → <jats:italic>D</jats:italic><jats:sup>(*)</jats:sup><jats:italic>K</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup> and <jats:italic>B</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup> → <jats:italic>D</jats:italic><jats:sup>(*)</jats:sup><jats:italic>π</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup> decays are presented, where <jats:italic>D</jats:italic><jats:sup>(∗)</jats:sup> indicates a neutral <jats:italic>D</jats:italic> or <jats:italic>D</jats:italic><jats:sup>∗</jats:sup> meson that is an admixture of meson and anti-meson states. Decays of the <jats:italic>D</jats:italic><jats:sup>(∗)</jats:sup> meson to the <jats:italic>Dπ</jats:italic><jats:sup>0</jats:sup> and <jats:italic>Dγ</jats:italic> final states are partially reconstructed without inclusion of the neutral pion or photon. Decays of the <jats:italic>D</jats:italic> meson are reconstructed in the <jats:italic>K</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup><jats:italic>π</jats:italic><jats:sup>∓</jats:sup>, <jats:italic>K</jats:italic><jats:sup>+</jats:sup><jats:italic>K</jats:italic><jats:sup><jats:italic>−</jats:italic></jats:sup>, and <jats:italic>π</jats:italic><jats:sup>+</jats:sup><jats:italic>π</jats:italic><jats:sup><jats:italic>−</jats:italic></jats:sup> final states. The analysis uses a sample of charged <jats:italic>B</jats:italic> mesons produced in proton-proton collisions and collected with the LHCb experiment, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 2.0, 1.0, and 5.7 fb<jats:sup><jats:italic>−</jats:italic>1</jats:sup> taken at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, respectively. The measurements of partially reconstructed <jats:italic>B</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup> → <jats:italic>D</jats:italic><jats:sup>(*)</jats:sup><jats:italic>K</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup> and <jats:italic>B</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup> → <jats:italic>D</jats:italic><jats:sup>(∗)</jats:sup><jats:italic>π</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup> with <jats:italic>D</jats:italic> → <jats:italic>K</jats:italic><jats:sup>∓</jats:sup><jats:italic>π</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup> decays are the first of their kind, and a first observation of the <jats:italic>B</jats:italic><jats:sup>±</jats:sup> → <jats:inline-formula><jats:alternatives><jats:tex-math>$$ {\left(D{\pi}^0\right)}_{D^{\ast }}{\pi}^{\pm } $$</jats:tex-math><mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:msub> <mml:mfenced> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>D</mml:mi> <mml:msup> <mml:mi>π</mml:mi> <mml:mn>0</mml:mn> </mml:msup> </mml:mrow> </mml:mfenced> <mml:msup> <mml:mi>D</mml:mi> <mml:mo>∗</mml:mo> </mml:msup> </mml:msub> <mml:msup> <mml:mi>π</mml:mi> <mml:mo>±</mml:mo> </mml:msup> </mml:math></jats:alternatives></jats:inline-formula> decay is made with a significance of 6.1 standard deviations. All <jats:italic>CP</jats:italic> observables are measured with world-best precision, and in combination with other LHCb results will provide strong constraints on the CKM angle <jats:italic>γ</jats:italic>.</jats:p>
