Beschreibung:
<jats:p>We show that the cloud point temperature (<jats:italic>T</jats:italic><jats:sub>CP</jats:sub>) of thermoresponsive polyacrylamides is considerably lower in physiologically relevant solvents (phosphate-buffered saline, serum) than in pure water. This decrease of <jats:italic>T</jats:italic><jats:sub>CP</jats:sub> may be critical for some biomedical applications.</jats:p>
