<jats:p>Ir-Catalyzed cyclization of 1,5- and 1,6-dienes <jats:italic>via</jats:italic> C–H alkylation of an <jats:italic>N</jats:italic>-methyl group proceeded to give five- and six-membered carbocyclic compounds, respectively. The reaction using a chiral diphosphine ligand enabled the asymmetric cyclization.</jats:p>
