<jats:p> The purpose of this note is to recapitulate the con cern and convictions of the members of the Club with regard to the present state of world society, to assess the position reached by our initial efforts, to discuss the strengths and weaknesses inherent in the nature and concept of the Club, and to enumerate some of the problem areas which we feel demand urgent investigation. </jats:p>
