<jats:p> With the great growth of tourism worldwide, educational and training programs have expanded to some extent, but there are many voids in curricula that do not meet the needs of the comprehensive scope of tourism. This research note describes these voids and provides insight into the design of curricula for tourism in the future. </jats:p>
