  • Beschreibung: This article is a qualitative study of undergraduate student perceptions of the calling into Christian missions and ministry. A number of central factors emerged when students spoke of the process of discovering their vocation. Students were likely to situate their calling in the midst of social interaction. They also tended to arrive at a sense of calling during or after participating in a ministry or mission-related experience. The role of mentors in affirming their vocation, especially within the local church and family life, was also emphasized, along with intuitive encounters with God.
