Beschreibung:
<jats:p> As a complement to the Epigraphic Survey of the preserved temple reliefs at Samanud, published in JEA 85 (1999), the urban context of the late dynastic temple is considered. GPS data from recent fieldwork is combined with older travellers' reports to create a map, the first to indicate the locations of the temple remains, while a working contour map of the tell is also produced. </jats:p>
