  • Beschreibung: Margo Wilson’s groundbreaking work identifying risk factors for homicide was foundational for development of the Danger Assessment (DA), an instrument for use with victim/survivors of domestic violence to help them accurately determine their risk of lethality. Margo’s work is briefly reviewed as are her lessons on how to conduct collaborative interdisciplinary practice and policy relevant homicide research. The DA was validated in a collaborative interdisciplinary national study and is the basis of several brief risk assessments used in the criminal justice system in several states. Several of the factors on the DA are directly attributable to Margo’s work.
