This provocative argument describes the fact that nowadays it is almost impossible to manufacture machines which can be operated intuitively despite the existence of ergonomic operating systems. The available functions of the operating system exceed by far the number of functions which are necessary for the process control. Apart from monitoring the automatically controlled process the user is able to carry out additional tasks. In order to get an overview of the numerous functions and to operate the product in a correct and safe way an efficient user documentation adapted to the user's needs is required as a supplement to the ergonomic operating system. </jats:p>
