<jats:p>Reports on the use of peer education in the form of drama, as a nutrition education medium in secondary schools. Describes the process of devising a forum theatre show ‐ “The Food Show” ‐ as part of the formal and informal curriculum, using drama and PSHE lessons. Short‐term evaluation demonstrates increased food and health awareness in year 9 pupils, to whom the show is performed, and identifies positive trends towards healthier eating behaviour at school. Details an ongoing programme of long‐term evaluation in researching effective nutrition interventions in schools.</jats:p>
