  • Beschreibung:
Keith Elliott and Maggie Carter look at the various ways of providing for difficult pupils and conclude there are alternatives to expensive residential placements. A scheme to support children in their own primary school is described. The disadvantages, as well as the advantages, are listed. A behaviour support team came into being and its structure is described. A case study is presented along with other evidence. The high success rate of the project clearly merits attention. After a number of years in the doldrums, work in the area of behavioural difficulties appears to be taking on new dimensions, as recent articles in this journal illustrate. We are happy to continue reporting such exciting developments.
