We report here the whole draft genome sequence of marine isolate
<jats:named-content content-type="genus-species">Photobacterium halotolerans</jats:named-content>
S2753, which produces the known antibiotic holomycin and also ngercheumicins and solonamides A and B, which interfere with virulence of methicillin-resistant
<jats:named-content content-type="genus-species">Staphylococcus aureus</jats:named-content>
strains by interacting with the quorum-sensing system.
