  • Beschreibung: <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>This paper focuses on the design of an integrated high‐voltage HV driver chip for bi‐stable LCDs. First of all, the design of HV generators, based on the Dickson charge pump is discussed. A short summary of the most important simulation results is given. Subsequently, the paper describes the design of integrated HV multiplexers for switching the HV outputs of the generators to the pixel electrodes. Finally, the implementation of the design in a prototype chip, together with measurement results are mentioned and the paper is concluded with some thoughts on future improvements and possible applications.</jats:p>
