<jats:p>The main aim of this article is to describe the situation of Jews in post-war Poland, reasons of emigration from Poland to Israel and the process of leaving Poland. The research will deal as well with the study of how the newcomers absorbed and assimilated with the Israeli society.The article will try to demonstrate also the importance and significance of the emigration for Poland and for Israel – to what extend did the emigration influenced social, political and cultural life in both countries.</jats:p>
