<jats:p>Abstract. - From 1985 to 2000, about 150 Thesis (Ph.D) dealing with Climatology have been attended by Geographers in France. Prepared in few research teams, subjects did not follow closely scientific advances. Strangers outnumbered national authors, and if examined areas extend all over the world, (North)Africa hold the first position.</jats:p>
