Taking expectations of its readers into account is what determines, in Rennes as in other major cities, the content of the « bulletin municipal ». The demand for apolitical attitudes, managed by professionals in the field of communication, is translated through constant references to daily life in the community. The objective of promoting elected officials is not forgotten but it must, from now on, be expressed in a more subtle way. </jats:p>
