  • Beschreibung: Abstract We investigated the beam profiles and polarization states in the low-temperature photoluminescence from vertical GaAs/InGaAs/GaAs core-multishell nanowire (NW) under continuous-wave and pulsed excitations. In the beam profile under pulsed excitation, a doughnut-shaped intensity distribution was confirmed. The beam was shown to exhibit an axisymmetric distribution in the polarization. These observations indicate that cylindrical vector beams were generated from the NW. The observed polarization did not correspond to low-order vector beams but suggested the generation of higher-order beams.
