<jats:p>In this article I focus on a mathematical description of a turbocharged engine. After expressing the mathematical description I transferred it to the computer environment of a mathematical program. I further elaborated the results and compared them with the results of a simulation model of a turbocharged engine, which is also mentioned in the second part of the article.</jats:p>
