  • Beschreibung: Patrick Wyse Jackson (address above) [e-mail: wysjcknp@tcd.ie]) and Marcus Key, Jr. (Department of Geology, Dickinson College, P.O. Box 1773, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013-2896, U.S.A. [e-mail: key@dickinson.edu]) write: In recent years a number of papers have examined the distribution of epibionts (serpulid worms, bivalves, corals, bryozoans etc) on various host organisms such as nautiloids, trigoniid bivalves. King Crabs, crinoid stems, and trilobites. Brandt, D.S. [1996, Journal of PaleontologylOfi): 442-449] examined the distribution of bryozoans on the Ordovician trilobite Flexicalymene, and was able to deduce from this some aspects of the palaeoecology of the trilobite. We are embarking on a review of epibionts found on trilobites of any age, and would be grateful for any information on the whereabouts...
