  • Beschreibung: Chronic heart failure (CHF) is currently the most biggest problem of clinical cardiology. It occurs in isolation rather rarely; it is usually accompanied by multiple comorbidities that affect the treatment outcomes. Some methods of cardiac electrotherapy are used in the treatment of patients with CHF, especially resynchronization therapy (CRT), because they efficiently improve a quality of life and reduce overall mortality. However, there are doubts if the cardiac electrotherapy methods are equally effective in patients with the widespread multiple comorbidity. In this review, we present current opinion on the legitimacy for CRT use in patients with CHF and multimorbidity burden.
