  • Beschreibung: <p>This article examines the current rhetoric of cancer survivorship in relation to the emergence of new statistical models of cancer incidence, treatment, and mortality record keeping. In this article I examine the paradoxical effect of the moral economies of survivorship and agency in relation to the recent use of personal agency in combating disease used in direct-to-consumer medical advertising.</p>
