<p> This paper examines the optimum technology-pricing policy of a country that exports the superior technology to another country in which it has foreign investment. It demonstrates that, contrary to popular belief, full exploitation of technology market need not be the optimum strategy even if it were feasible. Because the technology fee may be negatively correlated with production in the recipient sector as well as returns from foreign investment, the optimum technology fee may well be zero or even negative. /// Investissements étrangers et termes optimaux de transfert de technologie. Ce mémoire examine la politique optimale de tarification de la technologie d'un pays qui exporte une technologie supérieure à un autre pays dans lequel il possède des investissements. On montre que, contrairement à ce qu'on peut croire, une pleine exploitation du marché de la technologie peut ne pas être optimale même si elle est possible. Il se peut que la tarification optimale de la technologie soit nulle ou même négative parce qu'il peut y avoir corrélation négative entre le prix de la technologie et soit le niveau de production soit les rendements sur l'investissement étranger dans le secteur qui reçoit la technologie. </p>
