Beschreibung:
International relations instruction had much less impact than external events during the spring of 1968 in changing student opinions on the Vietnam war. Identical questionnaires were administered at the beginning and end of the semester to the classes of two international relations professors at Purdue University, one somewhat sympathetic to and the other quite critical of U.S. Administration policies concerning Vietnam. Control classes in sociology and psychology were also employed. Although international relations instruction apparently had little effect on student interest or opinions regarding Vietnam, the international relations classes alone displayed considerably greater opinion consistency on the second trial.
