<p>A method is presented for identifying which constituents of diet best differentiate between different predators. The method employs scores calculated as the logits of Bayes posterior probabilities in a classification analysis. It provides two scales, a model-factor scale and a data-factor scale, for displaying prey taxa according to their contributions to the classification. A coefficient of diet dissimilarity summarizes the overall difference in diets, among predators.</p>
