Beschreibung:
<p>Taraxacum veglianum, found on the Istrian peninsula and adjacent islands in the Adriatic part of the Mediterranean Sea, is described as a species new to science and illustrated, and its known distribution is given. It belongs to T. sect. Erythrosperma and has a chromosome number of 2n=3x=24.</p>
