Beschreibung: The use of archaeometric methods has contributed to modify the image coined by traditional archaeology in relationship to the emergence of the first complex societies in the South East of the Iberian Peninsula. This article discusses the application of pollinic and archaeometallurgic analysis in reference to the new theoretical formulations with regard to the appearance or the Chalcolithic in the above-mentioned area.

L'utilisation de méthodes archéométriques a contribué à modifier l'image établie de l'archéologie traditionelle par rapport à l'émergence des premières sociétés complexes du Sud Est de la Péninsule Ibérique. Cet article se rapporte à l'application des analyses palynologiques et archéométallurgiques en relation avec les nouvelles formulations théoriques à propos de l'apparition du Chalcolithique dans cette région.
