The Authors describe the isolation of new enteropathogenic strain Escherichia coli 0157 : K88 : H43 of pigs. This strain releases heat-labile (LT) entero toxin but is deprive of heat-stable (ST). These characteristics confirm the interest of its identification in the mechanisms of colibacillosis after weaning and of its incorporation in the vaccination program.
Les auteurs décrivent l'isolement chez le porc d'une nouvelle souche entéropathogène d'Escherichia coli 0157 : K 88 : H 43. Elle possède la fraction thermoTabile (LT) de l'entérotoxine mais est dépourvue de la fraction thermostable (ST). Ces caractéristiques confirment l’intérêt de son identification dans le mécanisme de la colibacillose du sevrage et de son incorporation dans les vaccins.
