Mobility is one of our society s expectations. Transportation, in its evolution, answers to this aspect. In Romania, the new trend is characterised by transformations in the economical, political and social life. Transportation and tourism are two economy branches which need special attention since they are vital to society and they are in continuous development, too. In the years following the communist regime fall and especially after entering EU, the two branches benefited from important investments. Still, the two branches are viewed separately, without a global perspective. In the first part of this article, the Romanian transport system will be presented in keeping with the transportation projects launched at European level. The most important regions and the situation of the transportation system will be identified and studied. The second part deals with tourism and the most important tourist regions of the country, and the accessibility problems that affect each region, due to their position to the transportation axes and how do the transportation systems cover the tourist regions and what are the new perspectives. The next parts will deal with the analysis of the implications of the tourism and the transportation system, access points to Romanian territory, the ways of travelling to the tourist destinations and the perspectives of relating the two domains.
La mobilité est l'une des exigences de notre société. Le transport, dans son évolution, y répond. Le nouvel essor de la Roumanie est caractérisé par des transformations de la vie économique, politique et sociale. Le transport et le tourisme sont deux secteurs de l 'économie qui font l'objet de notre analyse parce qu 'ils sont à la fois des secteurs vitaux et en plein développement pour la société. Dans les années qui ont suivi la période communiste et avec le nouvel élargissement de l'Union Européenne, les deux secteurs ont bénéficié d'importants projets d'investissement. Pourtant, les investissements sont faits séparément, pour chaque secteur, sans avoir une perspective d'ensemble, qui aurait rassemblé les deux. Dans une première partie de ce travail, le système de transport roumain sera présenté en corrélation avec les grands projets de transport lancés au niveau européen. La deuxième partie a comme sujet le tourisme et les principales régions touristiques du pays, les problèmes d'accessibilité, suite à leur position par rapport aux grands axes de transport. Comment s 'articule le réseau de transport avec les territoires touristiques de la Roumanie et quels sont les nouveaux enjeux ? Les parties suivantes portent l'attention sur l'analyse des imbrications du phénomène touristique et du système de transport, les points d'accès sur le territoire roumain, les modalités de déplacement vers les destinations touristiques et les perspectives de mettre en relation les deux secteurs d'activité, en prenant en compte ce déplacement pour le plaisir.
