Etude d'une chute de poussières d'origine saharienne, sur le centre et le nord du Bassin Parisien = granulomere, minéralogie, situation météorologique à l'origine du phénomène. Les échantillons recueillis attestent la possibilité d'un transport à grande dis¬ tance (plus de 2000 km) de poussières grossières (plus de 40 µm).
On the 7th May 1988, Saharian dust failed on the Bassin Parisien. The authors describe the meteorological situation and the granulometry, the mineralogy of this dust (samples collected 50 km SW of Paris and 100 km N of Paris). These samples prove that the atmospheric circulation can transport thick dust (more than 40 µm) on long distance (more than 2000 km).
