Fiction, or Nobody's Image Fictions can be analysed using three propositions: their efficacy in the political, legal and psychic spheres, their relationship to images as approached by Wittgenstein (the little boy's blond hair), Kafka (the snake), and Kleist (the puppet), and a philological reading of Aristotle's description of mimesis.
