La comparaison des résultats obtenus par l'étude de l'outillage et de la faune et par les analyses sédimentologiques permet de reconstituer le paysage dans la région de Cottier lorsque l'homme utilisait la grotte et de suivre l'évolution du climat (de type montagnard) pendant une période s'étalant sans doute de la fin du Würm III au début du Würm IV.
The comparison of results gathered through the studying of the implements and fauna, as well as by means of sedi-mentological analysis, enables us to reconstruct the existing landscape in the area of Cottier when prehistoric men occupied the cave, and to follow the evolution of the mountain climate during a period probably lasting from the end of Würm III to the beginning of Würm IV.
