Beschreibung:
La zone étudiée se situe dans une carrière de calcaire en exploitation, près du village du Bernat. L'étude a été motivée par la présence, dans les sédiments karstiques, d'une faune extrêmement riche du Würm ancien. L'évolution de la sédimentation, depuis la période d'activité du réseau parcouru par une rivière souterraine, jusqu'à son colmatage total a pu être retracée globalement.
The studied area is situated in a running limestone quarry, near the village of Bernat. The study has been justified by the discovery of a very varied fauna from early würm in the Karstic sediment. It has been possible to globally understand the deposit evolution from the running period of the undergrand river system to its complete plugging.
