Des bâtiments circulaires récemment découverts en région Centre à Auneau (Eure-et-Loir) et Orval (Cher) sont rapportés au Néolithique moyen sur la base du matériel archéologique et de datations radiocarbones. La mise en évidence de ce type d'architecture, peu connu jusqu'alors pour une période aussi ancienne, conduit à un ré-examen d'autres structures similaires découvertes dans le nord de la France et apporte des éléments nouveaux à la réflexion sur l'évolution des constructions néolithiques dans le Bassin parisien après la phase de tradition danubienne.
Three circular buildings have been recently discovered in Centre Region. One of them is located in Auneau "Le Parc du Château " (Eure-et-Loir) and the two others in Orval "Les Arondes " (Cher). According to archeological remains and carbon-14 dating, they are ascribed to the middle Neolithic. The detection of this architectural type, till then unrecognized before protohistory, leads to look for similar neolithic buildings in the north of France. These new data contribute to the debate about the evolution of neolithic buildings in the parisian Basin after the Danubian houses.
