Les fouilles du sanctuaire gallo-romain de Bû ont livré une quinzaine d'ex-voto métalliques en forme d'yeux, bilosangiques et rectangulaires qui s'échelonnent entre les Ier et IVe s.. On observe une nette concentration de ce type d'offrandes d'une part dans le Nord-Ouest et le Centre-Ouest de la Gaule, d'autre part en Bourgogne ; elles ne sont pas spécifiques des sanctuaires liés à l'eau.
During the excavation at the Gallo-Roman temple of Bû, more than 15 ex-votos figuring eyes were recovered. They are either bilosangical either rectangular ones and were deposited between the Ist and the 4t h C. A.D. This kind of offering was mainly used in North-Western and Central- Western Gaul and in Burgundy and isn't peculiar to water-cult.
