From agricultural systems of production to agrarian systems. Presentation of research work. — Research itinerary followed by a team of agronomists wishing to discover the conditions and consequences for farmers concerning the adoption of technical innovations. Their approach is to analyse in situ the working of the farm units by studying the processes and mechanisms occurring in production. Each of the stages includes the system analysed in the preceeding one, so that the field of variables expands and the spatial organization of. phenomena builds up successively from the level of the plot of land, to the production workshop, to the farming unit, to the area set of farms.
Itinéraire de recherche suivi par une équipe d'agronomes désireux de connaître les conditions et les conséquences de l'adoption, par les agriculteurs, des innovations techniques. La démarche consiste à analyser in situ le fonctionnement des exploitations au moyen de l'étude de processus et mécanismes intervenant dans la production. Chacune des étapes inclut le système analysé dans la phase précédente. De la sorte, le champ des variables s'étend et l'organisation spatiale des phénomènes s'élabore successivement au niveau de la parcelle, de l'atelier de 'production, de l'exploitation, du territoire d'un ensemble d'exploitations.
