  • Description: For about 40 years now programming is used in mathematics classrooms as a constructivist concept of learning mathematics. Preservice teachers at the University of Education Ludwigsburg showed great difficulties in implementing this concept in a third grade mathematics classroom. Therefore we propose a framework for mathematical discoveries using computational thinking based on frameworks for inquiry-based learning and learning of computational thinking.
